High power of laser system Laxcell 2000/2004 may be used for photodynamic therapy of intra-cavity, interstitial and superficial tumors. System contains fiber optic tools set for different applications. System is generally used for skin, oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, lungs, mammary gland, urinary bladder and rectum therapy.

Wavelength availability matches therapeutic medical requirements for photodynamic therapy of cancer with photofrin or 5-ALA and HPD, hematoporphyrin derivatives as well as other second-generation photosensitizers.

Maximum continuous wave optical power is 2.5W at the output connector (up to 1.5W at fiber optic catheter diffuser). System permits to monitor optical power and to preset irradiation time. Light dose auto calculates during therapy. System based on fiber coupled laser diodes and provides high reliability and high efficiency.

Laser system is produced in compact package, and may be in compatible case for 19" rack mounting.

CW, Pulse, Burst Pulse Radiation Mode

• Laxcell series adopt the three Radiation Mode of cw, Pulse, Burst Pulse type which is one of the most advantage in the world. Bio Optics designed to prevent skin burn due to the thermal effects and optimism of photodynamic therapy.
  The importance faefors in photodynamic therapy are thermal relaxation time and oxygen(O₂) recovery time that shown the figure1 and figure2
  
  
• Thermal relaxation time prevent the skin burn due to the thermal effects whenever confineous wave radiation mode accumulate the photon energy.
  
  
• Oxygen recovery time
  In order to yield the more signet oxygen in tumor they need the recovery time to increasing of oxygen saturation in tumor. So Laxcell series can be select the pulse and burst pulse of radiation mode.
